Installation Guide

Easy Setup on Any Platform

Follow the simple steps below to install Co-Help on your computer.

Download the Installer

Click the "Download for Windows" button above. Your browser will download Co-Help-Setup-5.9.1.exe.

Run the Installer

Double-click the downloaded file. If Windows SmartScreen appears with "Windows protected your PC", click "More info" then "Run anyway". This is normal for new apps without a paid code signing certificate.

Choose Install Location

The installer will ask where to install. The default location works fine for most users. Click "Install" and wait a moment.

Create Your Account

Co-Help will open automatically. On first launch, you'll create an admin account with your name, email, and password. This account is stored locally on your machine.

Sign in with the email you used to subscribe. AI access for all 9 providers (GPT, Claude, Gemini, Groq, and more) is included with your plan — no API keys to configure, no separate billing. We manage the providers on our secure backend.

Start Listening!

Click "Listen" in the Co-Help overlay. A system dialog will ask you to select an audio source — choose your screen/window (this captures the audio). Conversations will be transcribed and answered in real-time.

Download the DMG File

Click the "Download for Mac" button. Your browser will download Co-Help-5.9.1-arm64-mac.dmg.

Open the DMG

Double-click the downloaded .dmg file. A window will appear — drag the Co-Help icon to the Applications folder.

Bypass Gatekeeper (First Launch Only)

Co-Help is signed and notarized by Apple — macOS will open it normally. Simply double-click Co-Help in your Applications folder. If you see a security dialog, click "Open" to confirm.

Grant Permissions

macOS will ask for Screen Recording and Microphone permissions. Grant both — Screen Recording is required for system audio capture, and Microphone is needed as a fallback. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security if prompted.

Same as Windows: sign in with the email you used to subscribe. All 9 AI providers are included with your plan — no keys, no setup, no extra billing. Just sign in and start using Co-Help.

Start Listening!

Click "Listen" in the Co-Help overlay. Select the audio source when prompted. Note: On macOS, system audio capture may require a virtual audio driver like BlackHole for best results. Co-Help will fall back to microphone capture if system audio isn't available.
